Minnesota Masonic Children’s Clinic for Communication Disorders is thrilled to collaborate with the Duluth Public Library on an important “social stories” project. Social stories are illustrated booklets that can be used as learning tools for individuals to help them navigate everyday life events, such as visiting a library. The stories share social information in a respectful and positive way, usually conveying an idea, expectations of others, and/or strategies to try when engaging in everyday activities. The Clinic has provided two “visiting the library” social stories for visitor use.
