What This Evening Is For
A child’s ability to hear isn’t just about sound. It’s the foundation for language, learning, friendship, and confidence. When hearing loss goes undiagnosed or unsupported, children can fall behind in speech development, struggle to connect with classmates, and face challenges that follow them well beyond childhood. Early identification and consistent audiological care can change that trajectory entirely.
Thanks to the generosity of donors like you, MMCCCD has been able to bring on a full-time audiologist, a resource that has already transformed how quickly and completely children in our care can access the hearing support they need.
This evening, we’re asking our community to help us build on that momentum.
This year’s fundraising goal is dedicated to sustaining and expanding audiology services so that every child who walks through our doors, regardless of their family’s ability to pay, has the chance to hear, connect, and thrive.
An Evening to Remember
5:00 – 6:00 PM | Cocktail Hour with butler-passed hors d’oeuvres:
Snap a photo at our photo booth. Connect with our team of speech and language therapists to hear firsthand about the impact they have on the kids they serve.
6:30 PM | Dinner
7:00 PM | Program Hosted by Markus, Steve, and Jason, the program will feature a firsthand story from a family whose life was changed by the care they received at MCC, a powerful reminder of why this work matters. We’ll also share how a full-time audiologist has already made a measurable difference for the children and families we serve.
